Ginger Day
As one can assume, I’ve had strawberry blonde hair my whole life. It was much deeper of a red and curlier as a child and has evolved into what I know now. Long hair that ends up everywhere you don’t want it to be.
With that being said, today is National Redhead Day! I love my hair so much. I truly love that I don’t have to do anything to it to get highlights or waves. I'm such a low matience person that my hair needs to be that way too.
Having ginger/strawberry blonde hair has its ups and downs especially me being tall too… you can’t miss me. I tend to have a lot of people starring at me. I don’t acknowledge it often, but today as I've read heavily on the the subject. A slim 1-2% of the world population are gingers. Kinda crazy to think about it in those terms. So now the next time that I am being looked at, well they are looking at a unique treasure.
Besides the general public being weird towards my unique trait, there are also men (maybe women, haven’t met them yet) that have a fetish with women with red hair. As a women with red hair, its weird. As a person who understands attractive characteristics, I completely understand.
With that being said the next time you find yourself getting distracted by a ginger, I’d suggest going up and talking or just finding the nearest place with a closed door. Some articles said this and some not, but I need to confirm this: gingers have an out of this world sex drive. I could go forever. To add to that, numerous partners have pointed out just how wet I can get. Thats why I’m suggesting giving it a try.
As I’m learning to appreciate all that I am. Here is a day for me to appreciate all that my unique hair is. Crazy enough there are festivals for people of red hair… not my first priority but maybe one day.
Make sure to appreciate the people with red hair in your life. We are a slim percentage, but no worries we are not going extinct! Many people carry the recessive trait.
