Fenty
I’ve been meaning to write this post for a while, but today is more of an incentive being that it is her birthday today. I am talking about Rhianna. I've always known about her, but recently become to know more about her. She is amazing. Truly an all around woman that I aspire to be. She is the founder of Fenty and Clara Lionel Foundation. Within the Fenty brand she has created companies such as Savage Fenty, a lingerie company, Fenty Beauty, and Fenty Skin. I have recently tried all three of these companies. Here is my review on them.
Fenty Beauty was the first one I tried. I first purchased the Universal Lip Luminizer in Fenty Glow and Liquid Eyeliner Pen. I love the gloss bomb. It’s an amazing every day color. It feels so smooth on my lips. I never used lip gloss before trying this and I doubt I’d be able to try another one. The liquid eyeliner pen worked much better when I first got it, but may have dried out as I had it. I am also new to liquid eyeliner so it very well could've been user error. I recently purchased the Gloss Bomb Cream Color in Fruit Snackz. I missed having a red lip color so much. I always used to use Maybelline Babylips in Cherry Red; something like that. Anywho this lip gloss is so creamy and rich in color. The formula is amazing and rich. Highly recommend trying out the lip creams. I was also able to try a sample size of the Frontal Mascsra. My lashing haven't ever looked so good. I loved how easily it built up. I want to purchase this mascara again in the future. I hope to try her eye shadows as well. She is iconically known for her full range of skin tones in her face products. I applaud her for being thr one to change the beauty industry in forcing companies to offer a wider range of skin tones.
The next company was FentySkin. She released a full skin care line back in the summer featuring a toner, cleanser, and moisturizer. They were all naturally made and intended for both sexes. I haven’t ever used a toner so I wasn’t particularly intrigued in trying that out and I have a bottle of moisturizer to get through so I wasnt going to by another. I did want to try the line so I ended up purchasing the cleanser. I fell in love. The part that sold me was that she designed it to be strong enough to remove makeup yet super gentle on the eyes. It did just that. It made my night time routine that much easier. It also has an amazing smell that is so soothing. My first bottle has lasted me 6 months by using it daily. It is totally worth the purchase.
Now FINALLY I get to tell you about Savage X Fenty. I was really feeling down and wanted to cheer myself and find a way to reappreciate myself. I had lost myself so I thought what better way than to buy lingerie. YOU FEEL SO SEXY. Once you complete an ordered you won't look back. Your lingerie drawer is changed for the best. With my first purchase, I bought a body suit, bralette, crotchless thong , and a Brazilian cut underwear. I loved them all. They all highlight where you want them to. I loved the material of them all. The Brazilian was my favorite. It was the first time having a silky purple and the cut was amazing. I was so shocked the bralette fit and was comfortable. I struggle with finding bralettes that fit and hold my boobs in place, but this one I had no issue. I also appreciate that the lace doesn’t roll up while I’m wearing it throughout the day. The crotchless thong is SUCH a concept. I haven't seen it before but it is so fun to play with whether with someone or yourself. I love the high cut on the leg as well. Finally the body suit. I was sorta hesitant at first but damn I love it. I love when I’m able to have a night to myself and wear it. I feel so sexy and it is quite comfortable to sleep in. The lace has held up so well with numerous washes. The quality is not surprising but needs to be acknowledged.
There are new collections released regularly. They always go quick. I was able to get one piece from the Valentine's and floral spring collection. I love the unique take on lingerie. I’m sold and may not be going to another company. I always want to feel this sexy. Rhianna focuses on making sure that everyone is able to feel sexy. She is an all inclusive brand which is fabulous. If you haven’t seen her fashion shows, please please take time to do so. They are available on Amazon Prime.
All in all, whether a fan or not I would suggest trying out these companies. Rhianna has already done so much, it’s only a matter of time to see what else she does. Till then check out all she has does and wait until the album drops.
