Sunshine

As I am sitting in my chair at in the dinning room, I am overjoyed with all the sunshine. My skin feels some type of way. I always crave more. Living in a place where it doesn’t shine often, you have to make sure you enjoy it while you can. It revitalizes me. I now go out of my way to try and get in as much sunshine as I can. I wish our work life balance focused on the daylight available. If more people were given the flexibility and trust to leave when the sun shined, I think workers would be able to focus easier. I hope to one day see that change implemented throughout all fields, as best as it can.

If the sun is shining and I am able to enjoy one hour of it, then it was a great day. If I can’t do it well I feel like it was wasted because more than likely I had to spend it indoors.

Some of my favorite places to sit in the sun are a porch, they are so nicely elevated, but can still allow for nice conversations. A porch that is enclosed with windows on each wall is all ideal scenario for the winter months. I could easily bundle up with a cup of tea and a book, a knitting project, music or my journal. I’d be so content. I do also enjoy sitting on a dock and wading in the water. I love sitting on floatation devices because I am so tall that I have to bend anyways to get myself fully wet. Sitting on floats are especially fun when you are drinking, highly suggest. The next place would be watching the sunset. Something about the evening sun where you know it is setting and concluding a day lived.

The sunshine always makes me feel alive. It makes me want to keep going. If you don’t believe me get a house plant and well, it’s going to die if it doesn’t get some sunshine. You are the same way!

I can’t wait till I am able to travel to new places to experience new sunshine.

Always make sure you're creating your own form of sunshine, whatever that may be.
