Banana Bread
I exclusively grew up eating banana bread muffins that my mom baked. They were a staple snack and perfect way to use up bananas once they’ve ripened. I love banana bread.
Its a simple and easy recipe. Its actually handwritten and on my fridge. Below is the recipe, enjoy!
Ingredients
3/4 cups of sugar
1 1/2 cups of mashed bananas (3 large ones)
3/4 cup of vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 cups of flour
1/2 cups of walnuts or chocolate chips or both
1 teaspoon of baking soda
2 teaspoons of vanilla
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
Instructions
Preheat oven at 325 ° F
Mix first 4 ingredients in large bowl.
Add flour slowly into batter.
Add in remaining ingredients.
Divide batter up into muffins. Place desired amount for sizing of muffins.
Bake bread for 60-70 minutes and muffins can be baked for 25- 30 minutes or until golden brown. They are finished when a fork is placed in and comes out clean.
