Banana Bread

I exclusively grew up eating banana bread muffins that my mom baked. They were a staple snack and perfect way to use up bananas once they’ve ripened. I love banana bread.

Its a simple and easy recipe. Its actually handwritten and on my fridge. Below is the recipe, enjoy!

Ingredients

3/4 cups of sugar

1 1/2 cups of mashed bananas (3 large ones)

3/4 cup of vegetable oil

2 eggs

2 cups of flour

1/2 cups of walnuts or chocolate chips or both

1 teaspoon of baking soda

2 teaspoons of vanilla

1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

1/2 teaspoon of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven at 325 ° F

  2. Mix first 4 ingredients in large bowl.

  3. Add flour slowly into batter.

  4. Add in remaining ingredients.

  5. Divide batter up into muffins. Place desired amount for sizing of muffins.

  6. Bake bread for 60-70 minutes and muffins can be baked for 25- 30 minutes or until golden brown. They are finished when a fork is placed in and comes out clean.
